Goalkeeper Richard Wright has refused to rule out the possibility of a permanent move to Southampton after ending a successful loan spell at St Mary's.
Wright played a key role in the club's last-day escape from relegation, but has now returned to parent club West Ham where he has a year remaining on his contract.
"I will see how things pan out," he told the club's official website.
"I desperately want to play football but I will just have to wait and see what happens.
"It was so good to be playing again and I loved every minute of my time here.
"It is a smashing club with a terrific manager and I was so pleased to be able to play a part in helping them stay up."
