Watford manager Aidy Boothroyd has backed Hungarian striker Tamas Priskin to help fire his side past play-off rivals Hull.
The Hornets square up against Phil Brown's Tigers on Sunday looking to take a first-leg lead into next Wednesday's semi-final, second-leg at the KC Stadium.
With first-choice striker Darius Henderson ruled out through suspension, Priskin is set to partner Nathan Ellington up front as Boothroyd looks to shrug off a run of just one win in 14 outings.
Henderson was shown a red card on the final day of the season at Blackpool while Steve Kabba is doubtful with a dead leg.
In-form striker Theo Robinson is ineligible after a season-long loan at Hereford, leaving Boothroyd with few options but still confident the 21-year-old Priskin can produce the goods.
"He's played in big games before for Hungary and I hope he can do it for us," said Boothroyd. "This is a big chance for him."
Priskin spent five games on loan at Preston through March and April, scoring twice, although he failed to net in the final four games of Watford's regular campaign - Ellington also failing to score in five attempts.
"Tamas did great at Preston, although his form has been in and out here," Boothroyd added in the Watford Observer.
"Despite both players being good in the air, we might need to be a bit different to what we normally do as Hull have got some physical players.
"Henderson has been a terrific player for us and we will miss him. Hull will be delighted he is not playing, but it gives someone else an opportunity."
