Hibernian midfielder Ian Murray has signed a two-year extension to his contract at Easter Road.
The former Rangers man agreed the deal last week and has now completed the paperwork to keep him at Hibs until the end of the 2009/10 season.
Murray began a second spell at the SPl club after being released by Championship outfit Norwich in January.
The 27-year-old said: "It's great to have agreed this new contract and I am really happy to be staying on at Hibernian."
Manager Mixu Paatelainen played in the same Hibs side as Murray for three years from 1998 to 2001 and is pleased to be keeping his former team-mate at the club.
Paatelainen said: "I am delighted that the new contract has been agreed with Ian. He's a great player and has performed really well since coming back to the club.
"Ian has a real determination to succeed and this allied to his great versatility will, I'm sure, see him play a key role for us."
