Counago must serve suspension

Counago must serve suspension March 26 2008

Ipswich striker Pablo Counago will sit out the next three matches after losing his appeal against a red card.

Counago was dismissed by referee Iain Williamson for violent conduct after an altercation with Scunthorpe's Jack Cork in Saturday's 2-1 win.

He was also accused of spitting in the face of Andy Butler.

The Football Association disciplinary panel rejected the claim that the card was undeserved, and the Spaniard will now miss Town's matches against QPR, Colchester and Cardiff.
