Gabriel is the senior reporter on ITV's football output. As well as presenting features for 'Champions League Weekly' and 'The Championship', Gabriel is the touchline reporter at UEFA Champions League matches, and also conducts half and full time interviews.

Gabriel Clarke has worked with ITV on four European Championships, three World Cups and a wide range of other football programmes.

He has worked as a presenter, fronting LWT's 'Sunday Match' programme and 'Nationwide Football Extra', as well as reporting for 'On The Ball' and 'The Premiership'.

Gabriel joined ITV in 1991 to work on the Saint and Greavsie Show. In 1994 he was ITV's West Coast reporter at the USA World Cup Finals, and was ITV's reporter from the Scottish camp for both the 1996 European

Championships in England, 1998 World Cup in France and the World Cup 2002 in Korea/Japan.

For ITV's coverage of Euro 2000, Gabriel contributed reports from across Holland and Belgium and was in Portugal for Euro 2004.

Prior to joining ITV, Gabriel gained an English Literature degree from the University of London and began his journalistic career on local newspapers in Somerset and Bristol.

He started his sports broadcasting career with Radio Trent in the East Midlands before moving into TV.
