Geremi has warned his former club Chelsea that Newcastle are gearing up to ruin their Premier League title dreams.
The Blues' penultimate match of the season is at St James' Park next Monday and Avram Grant's side need a victory to ensure the title race with Manchester United goes to the last day of the campaign.
But Geremi, who spent four years at Stamford Bridge before moving to Tyneside last summer, says there will be no room for sentiment.
"I'm sorry for Chelsea but that's football," the Cameroon midfielder told the Magpies' official website.
"We are not going to let them come to win. We have to give them a good game and enjoy it. It's the last game at home, in front of our fans, against one of the big teams.
"We've been playing well in the last few weeks and it's a big opportunity to send a message, it's a big test for us to see how far we can go."
