Jo set for Eastlands move? April 24 2008
The agent of reported Manchester City target Jo believes "something will happen" in the near future to allow the CSKA Moscow striker to move to Eastlands.
It was claimed in a report earlier this week that the 21-year-old Brazilian was set to sign for the Premier League club in a 20million euros deal despite recently extending his contract with the Russians to 2011.
His agent Marcelo Djian has now expressed confidence that a move can be agreed, despite apparent differences in the valuation of the player.
"I've made some calls to Russia and they told me there was no formal offer, but I think something will happen," Djian told Globoe Sporte.
"I know CSKA president (Evgeny Giner) wants 25 million euros, the release clause to sell Jo."
