Monthly gongs for Merseyside duo March 08 2008
Merseyside claimed a trophy double with Everton boss David Moyes named Manager of the Month and Liverpool striker Fernando Torres picking up the player's accolade.
Moyes guided his side to two wins over Reading and Manchester City and a goalless draw at Blackburn in February to claim his fourth award.
Torres scored four goals in February, including his first Premier League hat-trick against Middlesbrough, to move him into third in the race for the Golden Boot.
The 23-year-old becomes the first Reds player - other than Steven Gerrard - to win the honour since Danny Murphy in November 2001.
