Season over for Jaaskelainen March 17 2008
Bolton manager Gary Megson has confirmed that goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen will miss the remainder of the season with a back problem.
The 32-year-old Finland international was absent from Wanderers' Premier League defeat by Wigan on Sunday.
Oman keeper Ali Al Habsi has taken over from Jaaskelainen and played in the 1-0 reverse at the JJB Stadium, and Megson also has the experienced Ian Walker at his disposal.
Megson told the club's official website: "He needs six weeks of rest to try and resolve this problem, and he is going to need some form of surgery.
"Either way, his season is over."
