Rams to lose winger Robert April 01 2008
Laurent Robert appears on the verge of leaving Derby as he has joined Major League Soccer side Toronto on trial.
The former Newcastle and Portsmouth winger joined Derby in January as one of seven new faces as manager Paul Jewell made a last-ditch attempt to save the club from relegation.
But the 32-year-old Frenchman failed to make the expected impact, starting just three games for the Rams, with his last two months ago.
