Rangers manager Walter Smith is hopeful David Weir can make a quick recovery from injury and feature in Thursday night's UEFA Cup semi-final against Fiorentina.
The defender was initially ruled out of the second-leg clash in Florence after limping out of Sunday's Old Firm game with a groin strain but could yet play a part.
Smith is also boosted by the return from suspension of skipper Barry Ferguson and Kevin Thomson.
Lee McCulloch, Chris Burke and Charlie Adam travelled with the rest of the squad from Glasgow but are unlikely to feature due to injury.
