A superb volley from Jose Fonte helped Crystal Palace claim a 2-1 win at Stoke which lifts the Eagles into the Championship play-off places.
The Palace centre-back volleyed home from the edge of the area on the stroke of half-time to double his side's advantage.
Highly-rated midfielder Tom Soares had given the visitors the lead in the 21st minute when he headed home at the far post after brilliant work down the right by the impressive Scott Sinclair.
Glenn Whelan pulled a goal back for the Potters six minutes from time with a tremendous strike from 20 yards.
But Neil Warnock's side held on and climb up to sixth place at the expense of Wolves, while Tony Pulis' team remain a point behind leaders Bristol City in second place.
