Rory Fallon's double helped keep Plymouth Argyle on course for their highest league finish for 20 years as they won 3-0 at home to Blackpool.
The Pilgrims made the perfect start in Saturday's Championship clash at Home Park when Jermaine Easter took advantage of some sloppy defending from the Seasiders to fire them ahead after only four minutes.
Blackpool then left Fallon unmarked to head home Luke Summerfield's corner midway through the first half as the home side took control of the game.
Ten minutes after half-time, Fallon rose to meet another pinpoint ball from Summerfield to seal the points and keep Argyle in tenth place.
The defeat also left Blackpool in 18th place, deep in the relegation dogfight and needing a win in their final game of the season at home to Watford to ensure they avoid the drop.
