Bolton's relegation battle looks set to go to the wire after earning a valuable point in a 1-1 draw against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Robbie Keane and Steed Malbranque had efforts off target in the first half and Gilberto tried his luck from long range but Ali Al Habsi saved easily.
However, Keane was unlucky not to give the home side on the stroke of half-time when his shot from Gilberto's free-kick was deflected onto the post.
Wanderers broke the deadlock with virtually their first attack of the game a minute after the break when Gretar Steinsson's cross from the right was bundled home by Stelios from close range.
However Spurs hit back seven minutes later when Malbranque swept home at the far post.
Keane, Dimitar Berbatov and Jonathan Woodgate all squandered good chances to win it for the home side as Bolton held on.
