Blackburn 1 Fulham 1 March 08 2008

Jimmy Bullard grabbed a late equaliser as Fulham held Blackburn to a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park to keep alive their hopes of avoiding relegation.

Rovers, the busier side in a dismal first half, almost went in front with a freak goal soon after the restart.

Steven Reid looked set to lose out to Paul Konchesky as he chased Roque Santa Cruz's knock-down, but the ball somehow deflected off the pair and looped on to the bar and behind.

Eddie Johnson later clipped the post at the other end but the hosts went ahead on 59 minutes.

Jason Roberts delivered a fine cross for the unmarked Morten Gamst Pedersen to head past Kasey Keller at the far post.

But the Cottagers grabbed a shock equaliser on 89 minutes. Christopher Samba was punished for high feet in a challenge with Johnson on the edge of the area and Bullard stepped up to curl home the free-kick.
