Arsenal 3 Newcastle 0 January 29 2008

It was deja vu for Newcastle as they lost away to Arsenal again, with Emmanuel Adebayor, Mathieu Flamini and Cesc Fabregas on target.

The Magpies have yet to score under new boss Kevin Keegan, yet alone win, and were beaten 3-0 in the FA Cup at The Emirates on Saturday.

The Gunners started brightly and went close on 35 minutes when Adebayor volleyed over the crossbar following a fine Flamini cross.

That combination created the opener five minutes before the break, though, when the Togo hitman headed home a perfect right-wing cross from the French midfielder.

Keegan's men struggled to get out of their own half and it was 2-0 on 72 when Flamini let fly from 25 yards and saw his shot arrow into the top right corner.

Fabregas put the icing on the cake on 80 with a crisp half-volley - and Nicky Butt hit the crossbar with a 20-yard free-kick in the dying stages.
