Fulham 1 Middlesbrough 2 August 18 2007

Mido marked his debut with a goal and Lee Cattermole scored at the death as Middlesbrough fought back to claim a 2-1 win at Fulham.

Brian McBride had given the Cottagers a first-half lead, but Mido levelled 10 minutes after the break when his tame shot somehow squirmed through the grasp of Tony Warner and into the net.

And with just two minutes left, Jeremie Aliadiere made a surging run before setting up Cattermole to snatch Boro's first victory of the season.

Lawrie Sanchez's men had taken the lead on 16 minutes shortly after referee Lee Mason limped off injured.

Steven Davis and Alexey Smertin combined to set up McBride and the unmarked American striker picked his spot, but injured his knee in the process and was carried off in a neck brace.

David Healy scored a perfectly good goal in injury time, but the referee wrongly ruled it had not crossed the line.
