Manchester United finally hit the goal trail at Old Trafford and marched to the Premier League summit with a 4-0 victory over Wigan.
After drawing yet another first-half blank, United turned on the power after the break, as Carlos Tevez opened their account before Cristiano Ronaldo's double and Wayne Rooney's late header finished off the Latics.
It was a result which extended United's winning league run to six matches, during which time they have not conceded a goal.
Tevez fired United ahead on 54 minutes after brushing off Kevin Kilbane and Titus Bramble to fire home.
United doubled their lead on 59 after Ryan Giggs' shot was palmed straight on to the head of Ronaldo, who applied a simple headed finish.
Ronaldo (76) made it 3-0 with a simple tap in and Rooney converted a far-post header after an inch-perfect cross from Danny Simpson.
