Stelios Giannakopoulos came off the bench to score in extra-time as Bolton won 2-1 at Fulham in the Carling Cup third round.

The Greek ace netted with eight minutes left at Craven Cottage, driving beyond goalkeeper Kasey Keller to give Sammy Lee's side only their second win of the season.

Earlier, on-loan Trotters debutant Danny Guthrie stunned Fulham with a 57th-minute strike, only for Cottagers substitute David Healy to send the game into extra-time with a 78th-minute effort.

Fulham appeared to have finally taken a grip against Bolton's much-weakened side in the additional period, Healy and fellow substitute Diomansy Kamara both hitting the woodwork.

But Stelios proved to be the match-winner, despite appearing to shove defender Paul Konchesky off the ball before dispatching his shot on 112 minutes.
