Younes Kaboul struck in injury-time as Tottenham came from 4-1 down to earn a remarkable draw with Aston Villa at White Hart Lane.
Dimitar Berbatov's header put Spurs in front after 20 minutes but Villa were level two minutes later when Paul Robinson inexplicably fumbled Gareth Barry's corner to allow Martin Laursen to prod home.
And the Danish defender put Martin O'Neill's men in front in the 33rd minute when Zat Knight's header hit him on the leg and trickled through Robinson's legs.
Gabriel Agbonlahor's fine strike (40) and Craig Gardner's 59th-minute free-kick had Martin Jol on the brink but Pascal Chimbonda (69) tapped home after Jermain Defoe's shot hit the post before Robbie Keane set up a nervy final eight minutes with a well-taken penalty.
And the comeback was complete when Kaboul lashed home into the top corner to clinch a 4-4 draw after Villa failed to clear a corner.
