Derby 1 Birmingham 2 August 25 2007

Cameron Jerome scored twice - the first goal after just 30 seconds - as Birmingham beat Derby 2-1 in their Premier League clash at Pride Park.

Early on, neat interplay on the edge of the penalty area saw Jerome play a quick one-two with strike partner Mikael Forssell and burst into the left-hand side of the box before rolling a shot across Stephen Bywater and into the far corner of the net.

The Rams equalised in the 51st minute. Eddie Lewis found space down the left and when he crossed to the far post, Matt Oakley was there to volley home.

Sebastian Larsson came off the bench to replace Forssell on the hour mark and his impact was immediate.

Just three minutes later, with his first touch, Larsson flicked on a cross from Stephen Kelly and Jerome, at the far post, fired home Blues' second.
