Aberdeen were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich after the Dons twice squandered the lead to the German giants in their UEFA Cup tie.
Jimmy Calderwood's side took a 24th-minute lead, which was crafted by the two on-loan teenagers.
Sone Aluko held up a high ball before laying it off to Josh Walker, and the 18-year-old Middlesbrough reserve curled a superb shot into the corner from more than 20 yards.
Bayern had already seen two penalty appeals turned down before Miroslav Klose equalised when he fired home on 29 minutes after Luca Toni's flick-on.
Lee Miller's deft flick then released Aluko and he drilled the ball underneath Michael Rensing to put the hosts 2-1 up after 41 minutes.
The Bavarians dominated after the break and when Ze Roberto's cross struck Alan Maybury's hand, Hamit Altintop levelled from the spot, following up after his initial penalty was saved.
